Food Outreach provides medically tailored meals and nutritional support to individuals battling food insecurity and a diagnosis of HIV or cancer. Volunteers that help with our Cook & Pack opportunities work with our Chef and Red Aprons to help cook, pack, and freeze between 5,000 and 10,000 scratch prepared meals for our clients in one day!

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), about 50,000 people die by suicide annually in the U.S. Prevention is both possible and vital.

Unfortunately, the evolving workforce has stripped away the historical context of apprenticeship. Instead, you receive a baptism by fire and learn in the trenches. The time spent teaching cuts into the billable hour.

True, I was late coming to the party, but with good reason. First, I thought this was a streamed series about soccer. While I appreciate that St. Louis is a big sports town, I am more likely to be found in a theater, movie or live, for my entertainment. Not that I don’t cheer for the home teams, but I was not ready to commit to 15 hours of soccer drama.
