For young plaintiffs' lawyers handling a case on their own for the first time, it can be difficult to focus much attention on damages from the start. Unless it is the rare admitted liability case, we know that for the jury to even get to thinking about numbers on the verdict form, they first have to agree with you on liability and causation. If you cannot get over those hurdles, then no one will be thinking about damages.

Celebrate the launch by taking part in our Website Scavenger Hunt! The first five participants to submit the correct phrase will win a $25 Amazon Gift Card —so start exploring and be sure to submit your answers as soon as you crack the code.

How It Works

  • Each clue will guide you to a specific page on the website.
  • On each page, look for a word(s) that are underlined, italicized, bolded and highlighted in BAMSL Blue.
  • Collect the word(s) from each step to form the final phrase.

Scavenger Hunt Clues

  • Step 1: BAMSL Members receive many great Benefits.
  • Step 2: That's the Spirit! Just one trip to our Calendar doesn't do it Justice.
  • Step 3: Sometimes something new holds History. It doesn't take a Committee to figure that out!
  • Step 4: Winter is the best time to focus on Wellness, but Support is needed all year round!
  • Step 5: Looking to our future, 2027 and beyond, BAMSL will be on a National scale, so don't put us on Trial!

Once you’ve completed all five steps, email your final phrase to bamsl@bamsl.org.
All answers must be submitted via email to be eligible to win.

Once all your paperwork is in order, you make it past the clerk’s desk and are rushed into an exam room. What kind of relief can you expect? That depends on what kind of writ you are seeking. Article V, Section 4 of the Missouri Constitution authorizes the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court to issue extraordinary original remedial writs, and there are multiple types.
