Chief Judge Rodney W. Sippel announced that the District Judges for the United States District Court have selected Hon. Rodney H. Holmes and Hon. Joseph S. Dueker as the Court’s next United States Magistrate Judges. The selection was made by the District Judges from nominees submitted to them by a Merit Selection Panel consisting of attorneys and lay persons residing within the District.

Capital punishment in Missouri has a history longer than the state is old. This unique CLE will go through this history and explore how capital punishment has been utilized in our state. Discussion of these infamous criminals who have occupied the cells of Missouri’s prisons and their court cases will be followed by a unique tour of the Old Missouri State Penitentiary.
