The position of Term Law Clerk is a full-time position. This position duration is subject to a term time limit and the term begins the Fall 2024. It involves working for both Chief United States Magistrate Judge Shirley P. Mensah and Judge Noelle C. Collins (a 50% workload for each). The position is in St. Louis, MO.  

Principal duties of the position include: 

  • Research substantive issues of federal and state law
  • Draft legal memoranda, opinions and orders
  • Prepare the Judges for hearings, trials or mediations
  • Assist the Judges with case management
  • Generally, provide legal counsel and support to the Judges
  • Exhibit the highest standards of excellence and integrity
