Well-established Clayton firm committed to excellence in business litigation is seeking a talented mid-level business litigation attorney to join their dynamic team. Key responsibilities: manage business litigation cases, including contract disputes, commercial conflicts, and corporate matters; draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision; conduct in-depth legal research and provide analytical insights to support case strategies; assist in trial preparation and participate in courtroom proceedings, including hearings and trials; learn and oversee written discovery process, including interrogatories, depositions, and document production; appear in court for motions, trials, and appeals as experience grows, with mentorship provided; collaborate with partners, associates, and staff to deliver exceptional client outcomes; manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in business litigation to handle complex cases from inception through resolution: proven expertise in drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; strong research, writing, and analytical skills, with a track record of high-quality work; experience assisting at trial, with prior court appearances a plus but not required. The successful candidate will excel in drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting at trial, while thriving in a collaborative, in-office environment (remote work not available).
