Admiralty Law Committee  see members

Provides a forum for admiralty law practitioners to exchange ideas, address common concerns and work toward improving the practice of law.


Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee  see members

Encourages the efficient resolution of disputes by serving as a resource to the public, the judiciary and the Bar concerning various ADR methods; collects, integrates and disseminates information about developments and educational training programs in the ADR field; serves as a resource for information about ADR providers; provides training to members of the Bar in ADR; encourages the improvement of the effectiveness of attorneys and the legal system through the use of ADR.


Appellate Practice Committee  see members

Encourages an open exchange between appellate attorneys and judges regarding appellate practice.


Bankruptcy Law Committee see members

Provides a forum for bankruptcy law practitioners to exchange ideas, address common concerns and work toward improving the practice of law.

Elder Law Committee see members

Determines numerous means by which BAMSL can be of better service to its elder members and to the elders of the community and serve as a forum to address elder law issues.


Employee Benefits Section see members

Considers matters of interest concerning employee benefits and all aspects of the related law; communicates with members of the section, Board of Governors and the Association regarding these matters.


Environmental & Conservation Law Committee see members

Examines the existing federal, state and local laws relating to environmental and conservation laws and recommends changes and amendments. Provides a forum for environmental law practitioners to exchange ideas, address common concerns and work toward improving the practice of law.


Family & Juvenile Law Section see members

Strives to improve the practice of family law including domestic relations and related areas. Provides education to the bar and the public on rights and responsibilities; acts as a liaison between the service community for victims of domestic violence and the bench and bar. Works toward improving the juvenile justice system; develops programs to discourage child abuse.


Federal Litigation & Practice Section see members

Encourages an exchange of information between the federal judiciary and the bar and strives to work toward improving the practice of law in the federal courts.


Health Law Committee see members

Trial Section see members

Considers matters of interest concerning trial practice and procedure, and communicates with the members of the Trial Section, Board of Governors and the members of the Association concerning these matters. Engages in activities to improve trial practice and procedure in the courts in which members of the Association practice.


Workers' Compensation Committee see members

Provides a forum to share knowledge and address common concerns regarding workers’ compensation issues. Provides CLE to members.
