Widespread work from home has meant more data is created by employees using collaborative tools. We'll talk about licenses, data storage locations, and demo some key features of utilizing Microsoft O365 during the eDiscovery process.
Speakers
Ray Biederman — Co-Founder and CEO, Proteus Discovery Group LLC
Ray has worked in every phase of electronic discovery for over 15 years. He is a Super Lawyer in the area of eDiscovery, has been cited in multiple court opinions as an expert witness, and is adjunct faculty for eDiscovery at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He consults on information Governance policies and procedures related to cyber security and its intersection with government regulation and industry-specific best practices. Outside of his eDiscovery experience, Ray is an active litigator representing clients in product liability work, business valuation disputes, and contract disputes. He is also a partner in Mattingly Burke Cohen & Biederman, and Co-Founder and CEO of Discovery Master, a software platform for eDiscovery reporting. He was previously on associate at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP.
Anthony Cozzi — Project Manager, Proteus Discovery Group LLC
For more than twenty years, Anthony has led Information Technology departments and consulted with organizations in the areas of data management, security, and infrastructure design. Recognizing the need for companies to better understand the intersection of technology and the law, he obtained a law degree. Anthony combines his IT and legal backgrounds and works with clients to refine their data management processes, protect against internal and external threads, and manage eDiscovery requests and projects.

The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis ("BAMSL") hosts a variety of events and activities ("Event" or "Events") for member and non-member attendance and participation. By attending an Event all participants hereby affirm, acknowledge, and agree to the following:
- The participant acknowledges that BAMSL may take photos, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of participants throughout the Event. These photos and video recordings are for BAMSL use and may appear on the BAMSL website, newsletter, brochures, magazine, broadcasts, streaming, social media platforms, or future BAMSL promotional material. BAMSL may also share photos, video recordings, and/or audio recordings with news organizations for publication online, in print, or broadcast. By attending the Event the participant consents to usage of their likeness and/or voice in all such media without compensation. The participant acknowledges and agrees that BAMSL, and its successors and assigns, is the sole owner of all copyrights, literary rights, and similar rights to such media.
- The participant agrees to release and hold-harmless BAMSL and its agents, employees, officers, members, contractors, and vendors from and against all claims for damages and liability resulting from any claims of negligence or gross negligence for exposure to any viral or bacterial agents and the resulting illnesses therefrom, such as COVID-19, while attending the Event.
- The participant agrees that they will not attend the Event if they have a temperature of 100.4° F or above, or have exhibited any other symptoms of COVID-19 within the 14 days prior to the Event, including cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, new loss of taste or smell, and other symptoms as listed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
