Renée D. Hardin-Tammons to Begin Term as Chief Judge of Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District
Judge Renée D. Hardin-Tammons, a BAMSL member, has been elected chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, by unanimous vote of the judges of the court. Her one-year term begins July 1, 2026.

In the summer of 1945, after three years of service in the United States Army in Europe, 33 year-old Captain Malcolm W. Martin wrote a lengthy letter to his father and law partner, William McChesney Martin, Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri, in which he set out some of the lessons that he thought that he and other G.I.s had learned while away.
