I was an athlete in high school playing both football and track. I then went to undergrad at the University of Missouri where I could enjoy my passion for Mizzou sports up close. After obtaining my degree in Business Administration I went to St. Louis University for Law School. I knew I wanted to be in court so after law school I obtained a job working at the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis. It was at the Circuit Attorney’s Office that I was able to hone my trial skills while representing victims of crime. At the Circuit Attorney’s Office, I tried over 50 cases starting with simple assaults and then eventually murder cases. I presided over the Grand Jury and was head of the Bomb and Arson unit. In 2011, I was honored with the Circuit Attorney “Trial Star” for winning every jury trial I tried that year.

I represent individuals in Missouri and Illinois in all types of personal injury cases. Super Lawyers Magazine has distinguished me a Rising Star in the field of product liability litigation. I try to give back to community when I can. I started the Downtown Neighborhood Watch Group and raise money for Multiple Sclerosis. I have been named National Multiple Sclerosis Corporate Achiever for my fund raising efforts. I love the city of St. Louis and support it whenever I can. I am married to my lovely wife, Lauren, and we have two beautiful daughters, Mia and Bridget.

I care passionately about our profession, how we succeed, and how we help.
I have consistently served BAMSL YLD for five years and my law school for over ten years; I love to serve.
I recognize that BAMSL YLD's value is more than just social events; it is about improving our profession, advancing what we young lawyers can do within our profession, and our professional development.
I know BAMSL and its members; we have worked well together for five years.
I build bridges.

Unlike any other candidate: I have been a highly active member of BAMSL since 2013. I have rarely missed a single BAMSL YLD Board meeting since 2014. At those meetings, I have been an active participant, contributing ideas, insights, time, and good will. In my capacity as a BAMSL ABA YLD Representative, I have fully participated-- even beyond what was expected or required. I have not missed a single quarterly ABA YLD meeting since April 2016. As a result of my service across multiple bar associations and my prior experience, I contribute insights, perspectives, best practices, and constructive relationships. Those cordial and respectful professional relationships include the leadership of BAMSL, the Missouri Bar, and the ABA, as well as various state and federal judges.

In that term, I testified multiple times before the full House. I served a year term on the ABA Section Officers Conference, the subset of the House that represents key leadership of sections, divisions, and forums.
