Beginning July 1, 2023, members of the public will be able to access public court records from Case.net from their personal electronic devices. The Missouri Bar is sponsoring several sessions of this free program to provide an overview of upcoming rule changes and their interplay with the e-filing system. The program will also provide information regarding redaction requirements and related ethical responsibilities.

The BAMSL Golf Tournament, held annually in June, allows BAMSL to show its appreciation to its members by focusing the event on fun, collegiality and of course, great prizes and giveaways. It also helps raise money for the St. Louis Bar Foundation, which supports numerous BAMSL charitable initiatives.

BAMSL and ImpactLife are coming together on May 2 at the BAMSL home office to help save lives through blood drives. We encourage our members to come out and donate!

ImpactLife provides lifesaving blood products to more than 120 hospitals in a four-state region. They are headquartered in Davenport, Iowa, and have distribution hubs and donor centers in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. 

This program will explore cases heard by the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) during the past year, discussing the facts, issues, and outcomes of each case to provide insight into key issues and best practices. The program will also review recent trends in TTAB decisions, including what appears to be a more restrictive approach to distinctiveness.
