While being a lawyer can be rewarding, it can also be tough to balance our work obligations with life, outside interests and other responsibilities. We know lawyers suffer from stress and addiction in higher numbers than other professions, in part because of the particular challenges we face. It doesn't have to be like this! The St. Louis Bar Foundation seeks to grant annual awards that meet the Foundation’s criteria for innovative projects that address identifiable unmet needs in the community. The typical grant amount is $1,000 with a maximum limit of $5,000.

Beginning July 1, 2023, members of the public will be able to access public court records from Case.net from their personal electronic devices. The Missouri Bar is sponsoring several sessions of this free program to provide an overview of upcoming rule changes and their interplay with the e-filing system. The program will also provide information regarding redaction requirements and related ethical responsibilities.

Registration opens Monday!

The BAMSL Golf Tournament, held annually in June, allows BAMSL to show its appreciation to its members by focusing the event on fun, collegiality and of course, great prizes and giveaways. It also helps raise money for the St. Louis Bar Foundation, which supports numerous BAMSL charitable initiatives.
