Courtney M. Vomund — Lewis Rice & Fingersh LC 

A member of the Lewis Rice corporate department, Courtney M. Vomund focuses her

practice on ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation. Ms. Vomund advises her clients on compliance with various tax regulations and federal laws, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, HIPAA, FMLA, and COBRA. Ms. Vomund handles the design, documentation, and administration of welfare benefit plans, such as cafeteria plans, health reimbursement arrangements, and wrap plans, and retirement plans, such as 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, and employee stock ownership plans. She is also experienced in the design and drafting of nonqualified deferred compensation agreements, such as stock option plans, supplemental executive compensation plans, and phantom stock plans, and advises clients on compliance with Section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code. Ms. Vomund also assists her clients in correcting plan errors and deficiencies when necessary. Ms. Vomund’s diverse practice background also includes labor and employment law as well as government and public entities law. After graduating from Washington University School of Law, Ms. Vomund went on to become an associate with Lashly & Baer, P.C. and later Polsinelli P.C. She was named among the St. Louis Business Journal’s "30 Under 30" in 2010.
