Lawyer Referral & Information Service Membership
Operated under the direction of the BAMSL LRIS Committee, the LRIS refers more than 11,000 clients per year to panel attorneys. Membership may be sought by any attorney in the metropolitan St.  Louis area who is admitted to practice in the state of Missouri, is in good standing with the State Bar ofMissouri and agrees to abide by the the LRIS Rules of Procedures and Operation. More than $13 million in legal fees have been generated by LRIS referred cases since the LRIS was reorganized in 1993. The BAMSL LRIS program is operated in compliance with Missouri Supreme Court Rule 4-10.1 of the Rules Governing the Missouri Bar and the Judiciary and the ABA Model Rules for Lawyer Referral Services. We are proud to have served the St. Louis community for more than 75 years and to be among the first Lawyer Referral Services which was ABA compliant.
