BAMSL, Patty Long Announce Restaurant, Catering Agreement

The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis has entered into an agreement with Patty Long Catering, Inc. to provide restaurant and catering services at BAMSL Headquarters on the 30th floor of the Laclede Gas Building at 720 Olive in downtown St. Louis.

Beginning March 11, 2008, the Lawyers Club will operate under the name "Point of View" and will offer lunch service for BAMSL members and the general public from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Patty Long's will also provide food service for all BAMSL meetings, CLEs and other events at the Point of View and the Bryan Cave Conference Center.

The Conference Center will continue to be available for private events such as meetings, rehearsal dinners and weddings during the day, in the evenings and on weekends with catering provided for Patty Long.

"Our agreement with PLC will allow us to continue to maintain this beautiful facility while also offering our members delicious food and quality service at our educational programs, social events and meetings," said BAMSL President Genevieve M. Frank. "It will also allow Wayne and Joan Long, the principals of Patty Long Catering, Inc., to offer the community another venue for events such as wedding, rehearsal dinners and business meetings."

Patty Long operates the 9th Street Abbey in Soulard and Meriwether's Restaurant at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park. Patty Long Catering has been recognized by print and broadcast media organizations such as St. Louis Magazine, The Riverfront Times, St. Louis Post Dispatch, KSDK Channel 5, KMOV Channel 4, New York Times, The Food Network, London Get Out, Midwest Living, and Southern Living.
